Retention

 

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined by the type of information collected and the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy obsolete and unused information as soon as possible. In accordance with the laws and regulations in force, we will keep archives containing the customer's personal information, account opening documents, communications and any other information required. 

We may rectify, supplement or delete incomplete or incorrect information at any time at our sole discretion.

Reasons for data collection 

 

The processing of your personal information (i.e. any information which could potentially allow you to be identified by reasonable means; hereinafter ‘Personal Information’) is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations towards you and to provide you with our services, protect our legitimate interests and comply with the regulatory obligations (legal and financial) to which we are subject.

By using the Site, you consent to the collection, storage, use, disclosure and other uses of your Personal Information as set out in this Privacy Policy.

We encourage our Users to read the Privacy Policy carefully and to use it to make informed decisions. 

What information do we collect?

 

We collect two types of data and information about our Users. 

The first type is non-identifying and non-personally identifiable information about one or more Users that may be made available to us or collected as a result of their use of the Site (‘Non-Personal Information’). We do not know the identity of the Users from whom this non-personal information has been collected. Non-Personal Information that is collected may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g., the type of browser and operating system your device uses, language settings, access times, etc.) in order to improve the functionality of our Site. Device Information: we collect Personal Information from your device which includes geolocation data, IP address, unique identifiers (e.g. MAC address and UUID) and other information relating to your activity on the Site.

Cookies

 

We and our trusted partners use cookies and other technologies in our related services, including when you visit our Site or access our services.

A ‘cookie’ is a small piece of information that a website assigns to your device when you visit the site. Cookies are very useful and their use can have various purposes, in particular to enable you to navigate efficiently from one page to another, to authorise the automatic activation of certain functionalities, to remember your preferences and to enable you to interact with our Services more quickly and more simply. The Site uses the following types of cookies:

b. Persistent cookies’, which are only read by the Site, are stored on your computer for a specific period of time and are not deleted when the browser is closed. These cookies are used when we need to recognise you on repeated visits, for example, to enable us to retain your preferences the next time you log on; 

c. Third-party’ cookies, which are set by other online services that manage content on the page you are visiting, for example, by third-party analysis companies that monitor and analyse our web access.

Cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information about you, but we may associate Personal Information about you that we store with information stored and obtained by cookies. You can delete cookies by following the instructions in your device preferences. Please note, however, that if you choose to disable cookies, some features of our Site may not function properly and your online experience may be limited.

We use a tool based on Snowplow Analytics technology to collect information about your use of the Site. The tool collects information such as how often users access the Site, which pages they visit, when, etc. The tool does not collect any personal information about you. The tool does not collect any personal information, and it is only used by the host and operator of our Site to improve its Site and its services.

Use of script libraries (Google Fonts)

 

In order to present our content attractively and with good graphic quality on all browsers, we use script and font libraries such as Google Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts) on this website. Google Fonts fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Fonts or blocks access to them, content will be displayed using the default font. 

Any request to a script or font library automatically triggers a connection with the operator of said library. Although it is theoretically possible that the operators of the libraries collect data, the existence of this practice and, if applicable, the aims pursued have not yet been established.

Collection of information by third parties

 

Our policy covers only the use and disclosure of information that we collect from you. To the extent that you disclose your information to other parties or sites on the Internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure. Therefore, we encourage you to read the terms of use and privacy policy of each third party to whom you voluntarily disclose your information. 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control or to individuals that we do not employ or manage, including any third parties to whom we may disclose your information as described in this Privacy Policy. 

How do we protect your information?

 

We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information. We use industry standard procedures to ensure the security of the information we collect and store, and to prevent unauthorised use of it. We require third parties to comply with similar security requirements in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Although we take reasonable steps to protect information, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of persons who gain unauthorised access to or misuse of our Site, and we make no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, to prevent such access.

Transfer of data outside the EEA 

 

Please note that some data recipients may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Marketing

We may use your Personal Information, including your name, e-mail address, telephone number, etc., ourselves or through subcontractors to provide you with promotional content about services that we believe may be of interest to you.

Out of respect for your right to privacy, we include in this promotional content the means to refuse to receive further promotional offers from us. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your e-mail address or telephone number from our marketing distribution lists. 

Please note that even if you unsubscribe from receiving marketing emails from us, we may send you other types of important communications by email without giving you the opportunity to unsubscribe. These may include customer service messages or administrative notifications.

Business transaction

 

We may share information in the event of a business transaction (e.g. sale of a substantial part of our business, merger, consolidation or sale of assets). In the above cases, the recipient or acquiring company will assume the rights and obligations as described in this Privacy Policy.

Minors

 

We understand the importance of protecting children's personal information, particularly in an online environment. The Site has not been designed for use by children. Under no circumstances do we allow our services to be used by minors without the prior consent or authorisation of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. We reserve the right to modify or revise the Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be effective upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy. The latest revision will be available in the ‘Last Modified’ section. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of such changes on our website constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes and your agreement to be bound by them.
